LG W10, W30, and W30 Pro launched: India price, specification

LG India has been fairly silent this year. Even though the Korean electronics giant launched the LG G8 ThinQ and the LG V50 ThinQ 5G globally, these phones haven't made their way to India yet. But LG today launched a brand new series of smartphones - the LG W-series - consisting of the LG W10, the LG W30 and the LG W30 Pro that will be available exclusively in India. LG hasn't announced the price and availability of the LG W30 Pro yet but the LG W10, the LG W30 will go on sale in India next month via Amazon India. Before these phones hit the stores, let's take a look at their key details.

Specification

Processor: Both the LG W10 and the LG W30 smartphones are powered by 2GHz octa-core Helio P22 processor by MediaTek. The LG W30 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset.
RAM: While the LG W10 and the LG W30 smartphones sport 3GB RAM, the LG W30 Pro comes with 4GB RAM.
Internal storage: Similar to RAM, both the LG W10 and the LG W30 come with 32GB storage space while the LG W30 Pro comes with 64GB memory.
Variants: Similar to RAM, the LG W10 and the LG W30 smartphones are available in 3GB RAM and 32GB memory variants, while the LG W30 Pro is available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
Screen: The LG W10 comes with a 6.19 HD+ FullVision Display, while the LG W30 comes with a 6.26 HD+ IPS Dot FullVision Display. On the other hand, the W30 Pro features with a 6.21 HD+ FullVision Display.
Rear camera: The LG W10 comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of 13MP + 5MP lens system. The LG W30, on the other hand, comes with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 12MP standard lens, a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The LG W30 Pro comes with a triple rear camera system consisting of 13MP standard lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor.
Front camera: In the front, the LG W10 sports an 8MP camera while the LG W30 and the LG W30 Pro come with a 16MP camera.
Software: Android 9.0 Pie.
Battery: All the three phones sport a 4,000mAh battery. However, the LG W30 Pro comes with an additional fast charging support.

Special features

The LG W-series has several special features:
-- LG's W-series smartphones come with a customisable notch option. Users can select between a U-notch, a V-notch and a full vision display.
-- The three phones come with an AI face unlock option, which according to LG can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.
-- The LG W10 comes with a special reading mode that is designed to help users get a comfortable reading experience during the night.

-- Reliance Jio users will get a cashback of Rs 4,950 on the purchase of the newly launched smartphones .
-- LG's W-series smartphones have been designed, developed by LG India and they will be manufactured at LG's Noida factory.
How to buy it: LG's W-series smartphones are going to be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The LG W10 and the LG W30 will be available via first flash sale on July 3. However, the availability of the LG W30 Pro hasn't been disclosed yet.
India price: While the LG W10 is priced at Rs 8,999, the LG W30 is priced at Rs 9,999. The price of the LG W30 Pro hasn't been revealed yet.
